Blogger sick, back soon 11 March 2010

Posted by admin in admin, miscellaneous.

I’ve been laid low by some kind of stomach bug sicky flu type thing, hence the recent lack of activity around here. The world’s volcanoes will have to look after themselves for a bit until I’m recovered. Apologies.

(In the meantime you are recommended to visit Eruptions for the latest in volcanic events and analysis.)

All the best from Sicily (we’ve had a lot of different flu diseases this winter except for H1N1…)

The first automatically generated post here is titled “No, I’m not pregnant!!” That’s good to hear, Ralph (BG). Rest up, and please get better soon.

5. Passerby - 12 March 2010

Feel better, soon!

6. Stefan - 12 March 2010

Get well soon! Health is much more important than blogging.

7. Bernard Duyck - 12 March 2010

Get well soon … for a volcanic spring !

8. Ron Schott - 20 March 2010

Feeling any better, Ralph? We miss you.

Yeah, get well very soon. There are snews in southern Chile. The Chaitén apparently is hotter (with a more substantial steam plume) and there has been a little swarm of small-medium quakes near Melimoyu volcano.

I hope you will be back.

Looks like Eyjafjoll volcano in Iceland finnal decieded to erupt. There is a webcam on Helka that shows a very bright glow so this must be a pretty big event.

Many thanks, everyone, for the good wishes and the updates. I am recovered, and what with Eyjafjallajökull erupting and all, back with a bang!
