An earthquake swarm is under way at Yellowstone. What’s that all about? Does the supervolcano stir? Will there be a mega-eruption? Is it the beginning of the end of the world?
The disappointing news for the cheerleaders of the apocalypse (some of whom have been e-mailing me about this recently) is that this swarm is business as usual at Yellowstone, and there is no sign that anything magmatic and potentially eruptive is going on.
