This post by Callan Bentley at NOVA Geoblog gave me a strong sense of deja vu. He shows his cat Lola acquainting herself with the geology of Maryland, and here’s my own Lady Bracknell engaging with the solid geology of the United Kingdom (south sheet).

Callan Bentley notes that Lola at least tries to align herself with the prevailing geological trends. Her Ladyship, by contrast, just sits on Wales.
